Nairobi National Park

Nairobi National Park

Nairobi boasts one of Africa’s largest and most culturally diverse populations. But even in such a bustling metropolis, wildlife remains a massive draw. This cosmopolitan capital is one of the only cities in the world with a safari park within its borders. A mere 15-minute drive from the city centre, you can enjoy a classic African wildlife experience at Nairobi National Park. Lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, rhinoceroses, and buffaloes roam the sun-soaked savanna here.

Additionally, step into a world of compassion at the Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage, a world-renowned sanctuary that rescues and rehabilitates infant elephants traumatised by poaching, drought, or conflict. Here you can cuddle baby elephants and later visit the Giraffe Centre, an excellent nearby sanctuary.

Day 1

Experience the best of Nairobi’s wildlife in a single day with an up-close animal encounter. Morning pick-up from your Nairobi residence or hotel to the Nairobi National Park, and immerse in a 4-hour game drive tracking lions, rhinos, and leopards against the city's skyline.

Afternoon head to he Giraffe Centre for a hands-on feeding and interact with the endangered Rothschild's giraffes.
