Start your morning at the Giraffe Centre, a sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Head to the Sheldrick's Wildlife Trust open at 1100hrs to meet rescued orphaned elephants and rhinos during their daily public visit. While there, you can support their mission by "adopting" an elephant for $50 a year.Enjoy lunch and a bit of shopping at the Utamaduni Restaurant and Craft Centre.Afternoon spent at the Karen Blixen Museum, set in her former home, the museum offers a glimpse into the life of the Danish author famed for her memoir, Out of Africa.
